Very nice
---------------------------------------- There was some rain here earlier in the week, but the weather for race weekend looks fairly settled. There will be an ambient temperature high of 21 degrees Celsius on Thursday, falling to 19 tomorrow, before rising to 23 on Saturday and 24 on Sunday. Generally there will be partial cloud, with the sky clearing for sunshine on race day. [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Mar 27, 2009 6:00:27 AM] |

Lewis Hamilton plays down his chances of winning the Australian F1 Grand Prix
Lewis Hamilton is talking down his chances of kick-starting his world title defence with a win in Sunday's season-opening Australian Grand Prix while newcomers Brawn GP are surprise contenders. Hamilton, who became the youngest world champion in the history of Formula One with his one-point triumph over Ferrari's Felipe Massa for the 2008 title, believes his McLaren-Mercedes car does not have the same chance as it had in the last two visits to Melbourne. |

I'm not surprised he's talking down his chances - only 18th in free practice today? It's going to be an interesting season! ![]()

Well as the clocks go forward on Sunday morning I shall record the race on my PVR and watch it after a comfortable breakfast.
I fancy Kimi coming good this season. |

Have you seen this one René ..
In 1997, Shell pushed the boundaries of technical innovation with a groundbreaking display of courage and ability deep in the Mojave Desert. Formula One fans and the general public were united in their appreciation of Shell’s visually stunning ‘Refuelling’ advert. The scenes that were so eloquently captured in this timeless and powerful advert truly represent a partnership which has, for over 60 years, been at the forefront of innovation and aspiration. Without the benefit of CGI, the footage is as pure and refined as the products Shell supplies, through its technical partnership, to Scuderia Ferrari and the Ferrari GT department. Watch the video to fully appreciate this daring display - and experience at first-hand the thrill and adrenaline of being a Formula One driver, as above you the refuelling pipe leaves the aircraft destined for the F310B.
