Well, I ended up here from grid.org -- the computer fan is running at high speed again, and keeping the room nice and toasty.

Where's all the spam that we had in grid.org?

Good to see Courine and Guitar Man in another place.

And, just a reminder for any transfers that there is a final Grid Org London picnic on 9 June at 12.00 in Regents Park in the vicinity of the Band Stand. All are welcome.

A future WCG update will allow captains to initiate contact with team members, but only if team members have opted in. A second email field is projected to be set up for that. Upon captains contact, the team member can respond to the captain, but not to other team members i.e. messages are in BCC. The system is under review to ensure maximum preservation of privacy.

Now contacting outside of a team will not be set up. I suppose that volunteering information in the social network will have to do that job.... you can put adresses in those 'private' mails.

Personally i thought that PM system at grid.org very intrusive..... if ever, like to see an opt-in and a few more limitations to preserve maximum privacy. It's prone to trolling in the sneak.

As for the 2 you mention, seen them on the fora. Leave a note in the Team threads where they may have posted already.

And please, DO NOT POST EMAIL ADDRESSES ON THE FORA. There are those that professionally cleans that from public areas linked to the internet. If you decide to post it anyhow, leave it up for a brief period. After, edit it out again (little pencil left of post topic).
