Didactylos:
Did the web archive get them?

edit: nope. Google's not touching it, and the Internet archive says there's a robots.txt exclusion.

I cut and paste the stuff manualy. Well, have been for a day or so. lots of good stuff to remember.

You can get new projects and forums, but its hard to find new people. So if you wonder why I'm still up for a 2nd day. Simple, I'm hunting family members lost in this disaster.

hugs Hope they make it! hugs

Refugee transition centre, fitted out with all the mod -cons smile

I think it was the loud twang that that attracted me here.

I did have a question (which I probably posted in the wrong forum <embarrassed face here> ) before I make this a permanent home, but it is nice to see so many old and new faces here.

Better get back to work now though!

Re: Un-official Grid.org Refugee Transition Center.

Well, one of my grid.org clients gave me the news today... my 5 1/2 years of crunching are all over over there so here I am over here.

I was all primed to fire up about 40 extra computers in about 2 weeks to run the client over the summer, guess that'll be here too.

Here's a snapshot of my last stats at grid.org:

Welcome Rat0meter,

Consider for rolling out on BOINC. There is facilities to do 'mass' deployment by network using for instance Active Directory. Number of posts on the matter are around the fora.

Start here: http://boinc.berkeley.edu/win_deploy.php

Ask if it gets too complicated - the instructions cover everything you could possibly do, so they are rather.... involved.

Has anyone heard from JP yet? We were supposed to be meeting here. The last-minute-hangers-on (that includes me) want to know if his contacts at Oxford are still in contact.

Re: Un-official Grid.org Refugee Transition Center.

Thanks for being here guys. Its about an hour to go before the very end. And the forum is gone at grid.org.

That means the ramp will start. It should last about a week, as your stats really move. If the general concences to move here pans out in fact, and the solidarity of us gridders remains intact, 30 to 50 thousand machines. Based on the hours the grid did yesterday.

There is 1 group, team 2ch. If they come here intact, it would be a very high percentage of the systems I estimate will come over all.
