Talk about a tight area to remove that tree. Not fun playing monkey especially at your age Joe. That is why we we took it down in pieces small enough to control where they fell. We did not damage anything so we were pleased with that. I don't mind the tree climbing yet and I try not to take any unnecessary chances. When I am no longer comfortable with it I will cut back. This was the last piece we took off. Cheers

I stuck with my old team as long as I could. Until I was the only cruncher and the website went down... I stuck with it like a stubborn Minnesotan. But alas, it was just too lonely. Please accept my crunching contribution to Minnesota Crunchers. I was born and raised in Anoka county but now living in Texas (for the moment).

Always good to have a fellow minnesota (past/present) crunching with us. What part of texas are you living? Was stationed at Ft. Hood for 10 years during my Army career. What are your crunching with?

That piece has been pared back to one about 5 feet long. The plan is to slab the remaining piece so members of the family can have a piece of the tree if they want it. A couple of siblings already have plans for coffee tables.
----------------------------------------Bearcat, I see you have some days when you really put the hammer down. With this weather today that dually will certainly be creating some welcome heat. Cheers

Had a little glitch yesterday. One of my 24 thread crunchers froze and I did not catch it for a while. I had to reinstall Linux on the thumb drive so I lost a bunch of work units as detached. After the re-install WCG recognized it as the same machine so that was interesting. I re-installed BOINC and it took off again just like before. Hopefully it is stable again, it seems OK today.
