Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Bearcat,
If Little Mermaid wants you to have her email address, let her know to send a message to the team email and I will forward her email to you if she indicates she would like that to happen.
Cheers

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Got my True heat sink in yesterday. Installed and ran for a little bit before shutting it down for the night to let the thermal paste set. Crunching 10 wu's this morning. doesn't even spin up the fans. Did screw up and ordered an over sized heat sink. Didn't do measurements so for now will run it without the side panel. Will break out the dremel later and fix that.
Had my disco gram yesterday. Barbaric! They should ban that procedure. The whole building heard me scream on the 1st disc injected. At least they know which discs are bad. 2 out of 4 tested showed bad. Now waiting to see the surgeon on how many he wants to fuse again. crying

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Anytime they poke some internal organ with a needle, it is never a good feeling. I hope this takes care of it for you after you have the surgery. Then you won't have to go that disc thing again. I hope you are feeling better today.
Over size heat sink eh ? It sounds like it is doing the job. Be careful you don't nip too much off of it.
Cheers

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

The needle poke wasn't to bad. when they injected the dye is when I almost came off the table. At least they know which disc is the problem. Hope this is the end of fusions.
I ordered a Thermalright TRUE spirit 140mm. Sure goofed not measuring. One of the best out there. They use to make the 120mm and 90mm. The 120mm will work if I can find one but none in the USA from my google fu this morning. I hate chopping cases so will keep looking.

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Perhaps someone could enlighten me about what happened to our team totals on Sept. 12. I did not look at the team totals for a couple of days and was very surprised what I saw for Sept 12.
The daily totals for that day are as follows:
09/12/2017 1:289:12:42:23 2,710,308 61,256
We either have a secret admirer or someone else's points got attached to our totals. We never have that kind of time, points or total results. Any ideas anyone ?
It took a while, but I solved the mystery. Deltavee came to visit us for one day, then returned back to his home team, The Austin Grid Team. Thanks to Deltavee for the one day stay.
Cheers

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

I have a to certainty bordering idea.
Did you check if deltavee pitched a very large tent with you for a moment?
Some ingenious Base Camping that would be love struck

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

little mermaid said in the Base Camp thread...
Want to join me crunching for Minnesota Crunchers for a day or two?

So I did. The weather in Minnesota was a relief from our Texas heat, but other than little mermaid I didn't see any other Base Campers.
