OK, it was a little brisk this morning. 3F (-16C). My better half decided it was time for the winter quilt on the bed and put away the summer quilt. Not bad, made it almost to the end of November. The cool weather is good for the machines out in the shed.

The cool weather is great for crunching. Time to OC my new hex a bit for a little more heat for the house.

I have looked at the statistics for for my two Xeon crunchers running Linux.
----------------------------------------A full 25% of the MCM1 jobs are turning invalid. I can not really see see why this is happening so as much as I would like to crunch the cancer project with my best crunchers, I think I am creating more work than is really necessary and not using my resources efficiently. I will use them to crunch FAAH which is mostly Vina now, on which they do very well. In fact the Q6600 running Vista does a much better job running MCM1 than it does running FAAH and is more efficient than the Xeons on MCM1 even though it is not nearly as powerful. The Core 2 Duos running Linux also do well with MCM1. These also get very few invalids. Periodically, I will switch them back to see if the project or my machines do better. Cheers
