Re: Minnesota Crunchers

The news folks won't say but am hearing above 6 inches. Starting to wonder if they don't want to be the bad news bears until tomorrow, then tell us winter is back. Won't be pretty if we do get hit. Would probably be the wet heavy stuff. Stay safe folks.

Send it my way it'd be nice to turn the A/C off for a day or two.
Also we could use the water.

~80F tomorrow sad

Sure do remember the days at ft hood. Warm winters and hot summers but a few cold winters. Funny watching texans drive in snow, that have never done before. Would like to send you some but looks like we have one more going to hit us. Could pack a punch. I think our drought is over in minnesota, provided it melts gradually.

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

They have revised the snow totals for Monday down to 3 in. (7.5cm), but they have lowered the temperature for Sunday morning to -4F (-20C). I suppose their computer models are just not that accurate this time of year. I guess you have to take the good news along with the bad. laughing
Cheers

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Maybe the weather service should use boinc w/WCG to do forecasting. With all the power here, and short wu's like HCC, could get continuous data feed.

Good to see another new member. Welcome aboard csterno.

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Let us know what the outcome is? Since most countries are in the same boat, could be a pre curser to what most countries will be doing. Doesn't look pretty but it's has to be fixed. Unfortunately, those responsible will never be held accountable.

If you are leaving, sorry to see you go. Do not be a stranger here. It is good to hear your view of how things are from your perspective. I have appreciated learning and hearing from from the Finnish area. I am not familiar with Ranarama. Could you post a link to your thread ?
Cheers
