Read about the Kerimaki Church from the other thread. Beautiful building. I saw their website and read about the construction. Very interesting. The Finnish section has more information than the English section (thank you Google translate), but it is nice they give the information in 4 additional languages.

Wow, a couple of weeks ago I would have thought 88 was hot. Now it feels like a wonderful relief!

Sitting on my patio and it is a very comfortable 84 degrees. Wonderful relief indeed!

The forecast is for us to have highs in the 80's and lower 90's this week, but back up over 100 for much of next week. crying

I would imagine it's similar for southern and central MN.

No. There are no bugs, especially mosquitoes, ticks and deerflies. And in winter If I want to stay warm I dress appropriately, in summer there are only so many clothes I can take off. Summer can fun, but this year it is too hot and too dry.
