Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Hello,

some holiday here biggrin

Something I sure like this Nordic model is holidays...

I have 4+1 (summer+winter) week every years.
This year I change my holiday bonuses to two extra week, so have six week payed summer holiday this year...

These local cities are actually quite nice outside holiday season..
Kids are on school and adults on office, so streets are emphty but services are running on full capasity.
I can walk in to any restaurant and get best table, I actually even like Hellsinki on this time of year... Almost like some adult playground, can do anything I like...

On summer time it is total opposite... Every place is full and you cannot get any service anywhere....
I spend this summer on office which was relative nice move.. There was really nothing to do, so I was more like decorative object for two month.
There was not any traffica jams either, so kind of hybrid between home coach and work coach..

Cheers fellows!

Six weeks of paid time off. Not too bad. Did you take all of it at one time or break it into smaller pieces ?

Cheers

Six week holiday has a tendency to create two to four week on rehab silly

Just kidding...
I need to take it on parts, there just some projects I need to be involved...
Propably use one or two week as four day work weeks.
Three day weekend is guite nice and four day work week just bliss.

So propably like: week + week + two week + ten week as four day work weeks.
Then I can start my winter holiday whistling

If you can convince your boss to take it as 3 day weekends with 4 day weeks, I would agree that is bliss. It gives you enough time get some projects done and decompress from work. Enjoy biggrin

You sure have been raking them in with these last couple of batches! I got 12 this time.

One of my machines seems to put up some kind of anti-beta shield. I set it up just like the others, but it just doesn't get them, even when the others fill up with one per core.
