3 more inches of snow tonight...I may have to break down and buy snow blower/thrower that works. I just can't get myself to part with the 500 buck or so for a new one... ![]() Looks like the National Weather Service got it wrong again. 5.5 inches last night when they predicted 1 to 2 inches with a "possible" 3 inch in some areas. hmmm. I now have about 15 inches of snow in my back yard. This is awesome for the snowmobilers!!! ![]() |

I was down in the Cities visiting a slew of relatives on Christmas Day. The drive back on 94 was not fun. Probably averaged about 40mph , but was down under 30 for some stretches. Saw several accidents on the southbound side just north of the 494 - 694 split. The traffic coming south looked a lot heavier than the traffic going north. It did not thin out until well past Monticello. The farther north I got the better the road got.
----------------------------------------We only got about about 2 inches of fluff so it is not too bad here. Cheers

We would like to welcome two new crunchers XEPHAEL and EVILWILLALWAYSTRIUMPH. Editorial comment: I do like to see additional crunchers, but I just can not agree with the sentiment expressed by the name EVILWILLALWAYSTRIUMPH. It just seems way too negative for the goals we are trying to accomplish here. Even if the name is tongue-in-cheek.

I got evilwillalwaystriumph to join today but this was not his original user name he selected. He originally picked his full name as his user name and I kidded him about it and he then changed it to evilwillalwaystriumph.
He was just kidding around. He really didn't put any thought into it when he changed it, and he certainly did not mean any harm or take WCG into consideration when thinking up the name. ![]() |

Thanks for doing the recruiting.
---------------------------------------- Always glad to see new members come on board. Good point about the real name. Of course if one had a name which was very common, like John Johnson or something similar, then it probably would not hurt. I used to work with a Larry Johnson. He came from a small town with less than 200 people. There were three other Larry Johnsons there. They were constantly getting each others mail. Good thing thay all got along.Cheers
