This is something which will probably only have meaning for those who live and travel on the southern beltway of the Twin Cities. We have moved up to # 494 on the BOINC world stats.

Ok Team. We are finally getting some real winter weather. The forcast calls for 8 to 12 inches of fluffy white fun. It started snowing here at 09:00 CST and picked up rather quickly. We'll have to see just how accurate the NWS(Nationa Weather Service) is. The Local Meteorologist at St. Cloud State University, Bob Wiseman, Has upped his forcast from 8 to 12 inches (28cm) also. It could prove to be an interesting weekend if wind picks up.

Driving around in "it" today was kind of fun. Rear wheel drive vehicles with no weight in the back makes for some fun driving, as long as there is no hills.
 I think south metro will get around 6 inches unless we get some kind of snow burst. As of 5:45 PM CST we have a little over 4 inches. I think most is going north of the Twin Cities. |

This "little" storm dumped as much and that last so called "big" storm.
