Re: Minnesota Crunchers

As I type this there is a big red blob on the radar headed directly here. I will be unplugging everything pretty shortly.

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

I saw lots of red on the radar map all over MN last night, however in the SE burbs (Eagan, Apple Valley) we didn't get much more than a few drops of rain and a bit of wind. LOL.

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Yesterday was the million dollar rain. Sorely needed here. The corn was starting to curl even though there has not been any hot weather and some of the soybeans were looking wilted. My area of St Cloud got 1.8 inches (4.572 cm)of rain during the course of the day. Heard on the radio some places got up to 4 inches(10.16cm). The good thing was no high wind, no hail, just a good soaking rain. Sorry you did not get doused, I know it is quite dry in the Cities also.

Cheers

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Hello fellows 8D

I did get relatively interesting work offer and I think I will give it a change.
I'm not worried anymore about would I manage on job, too old and too many jobs seen for that.

But I'm worried about that security police will do security clearance about me..
It has never done to me and I'm not sure would my profile be most confidential possible. With this I mean my hobby for banking. It will lead them to that conclusion that I have carry lot €uros behind banking secrecy.
I'm not sure will it be problem, they will do medium level check for me, but I think they get that picture that from economical point of view I'm foreigner.

I did some study about it and found out that I could not actually be congressman or on any government job that would aloud me to have access to important information, simply because my property would be scanned. I have some money on Switzerland and Luxemburg, so local police simply would not be able to do any kind of scanning, but traces are very clear because I have made money transfer from local banks.

I guess these are those kind of stupidity that you do on young age and regret them later.
So only way to do these kind of actions is simply to put money on suitcase and carry them physically to bank. And then tell authority that spend everything on Netherlands.
Luxemburg is on €MU so it is aloud to move infinite amount money inside of it, and Switzerland is not any problem neither. On custom Swiss officers are not interested how much money you have, only origin on money is relevant.
On Finland we have expression: "Sometimes old way is better that ten new means"...

And traveling is so fun also.
Pot is legal Netherlands and there is some very nice red light districts

Good Luck on the job search.

It's too bad that today most countries, government agencies, and even companies confuse the desire for privacy with malicious intent.

Last time I was in the Netherlands I was supposed to get a day to tour Amsterdam, but our vendor had a bug that was previously undiscovered and so I worked the whole time. Ah, c'est la vie.

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Thnks TXVB.

Situation here is even more complicated from my conservative perspective.....

Our current president was chairwoman of SETA ... Most minister has admit using drugs. Minister of public health did admid use of LSD.
So if I would go to Amsterdam and use drugs and have fun with two and four legged, it would not have any negative impact to my career as politician. I could become president.

But if society would found out that I have Swiss numbered account, they would hunt me down like animal, and I would probably do some jail time....

O tempora! O mores! angry
