Done. We're now #75, and we also passed the 20 million point mark last night. Congratulations and thanks to all members.
Cheers. |

Cool bike, and this talk about brats is making me hungry.
Hello, everyone. Just dropped in for a quick visit. Been very busy. Our team is doing great, thanks to everyone for their great and sometimes humble (me) contributions. Looks like we should advance to #72 within a week. Who would have ever thought that "Homebrewers" would be kicking azz and taking names? Of course, most credit goes to the big guns here, but we all do what we can do. THANKS!!!Am planning to brew this weekend. Have two 5-gallon batches of pale ale -- same malts but different hops -- ready to bottle. Probably will make an ESB this weekend. I like to brew the same weekend as bottling; it reduces the frequency of my upsetting my wife. Cheers. Bill Velek |

I know we are a welcoming community, but I don't think driver of this truck should be allowed to join our team!

Darn it, servo, don't post those scary pictures. I'm probably going to have nightmares tonight.

Our team is doing great, thanks to everyone for their great and sometimes humble (me) contributions. Without you, Bill, we'd all be crunching for other teams. Thank YOU for putting this team together, and for sticking around. Cheers FB |

Total Run Time 60:250:12:24:24 (#97) Points Generated 20,836,825 (#73) Results Returned 88,764 (#61) -Brink Damn straight. That is impressive. Well crunched! Having met the VPs and Chief whatevers of my new employers, I don't see much chance of them ever allowing WCG into their server farms (which is too bad, because they have about 70 roomfulls). In fact, the new policies basically add up to "work is for working, dammit, don't you dare crack a smile!" It may even be a challenge to allow WCG on my own workstations. The level of paranoia instilled by what appear to be control freaks hired by lawyer-shy CEOs is sad and frightening. It's all because after Enron and a couple of others, those CEOs were made personally fiscally responsible for any screwups, so now everything is recorded (cameras and employee-spying software), kept in permanent archives, and audited constantly. They have made their entire organizations into work camps to prevent any possibility of some lawyer blaming them for anything years later. That's what we teach our children. The "for the greater good" of humanity is apparently too difficult a concept, or too foreign to the parents for them to allow it in schools. Sorry, Brink, went off on a tangent. You have done an amazing thing for this team, and (as one of the humble) I thank you for it. FB |
