MLCBA, uh yes. Here's the new thread and I sent the admins a request to lock the old thread. That's my understanding of how it's been done in the past. I know Graham likes to keep the thread sizes down to around 500 posts but I'm not up on all the specific reasons. Just trying to keep things tidy while he's moving.

Thanks for starting the new thread Keith
 Things are not going so wellThe house is brand new and I moved in yesterday The phone company screwed up so no internet connnection until next Friday Satelite company screwed up so no Satelite TV till next Tuesday New carpet arrived Carpet Fitter could not fit it until half inch was removed from 11 doors Carpenter comes 2 days later and trims the doors Carpenters did not trim enough off the bottom of the doors so the carpet filtter went ahead anyway and I cannot open the bathroom door without hurculean strength New Electric cooker arrives without a cable to connect it I am using a friends computer right now whilst shaking with rage Hope to be back on line with you guys next weekend I cant even post my 2,500,000 certificate  |

I have to pop into a MOT thread every so often to see how my buddy Graham is doing. I had no idea you were having so much fun with moving and problems in the new house. I moved several months ago and I can tell you things will get better. GL bro

You know you're getting old when you find yourself griping regularly about the shoddy work and the lack of pride the "kids" today have in what they do. Compost happens....grow watermelons (and annoy the twerps by spitting the seeds out at them  )BTW, hot off the press news from Dave is that he has a new toy - aka laptop and is getting set up for dial access from his current section at the VA so we should be seeing him pop in more often here in a week or two. FYI, what communication he has had email-wise has usually been done thru his cell phone. This will give his thumbs a rest |
