Hi GuysThings are not getting any better The heating engineer piped the boiler in wrong so I have the heating on when all I want is hot water When you turn on 3 appliances in the kitchen: Example: Microwave Toaster and Kettle all at the same time, it trips the breaker and shuts off all the sockets in the kitchen Still waiting for the Carpenter to trim the door bottom None of the phone sockets in all the other rooms except the lounge have been connected I gave the utility company instructions twice, to disconnect the gas in the old house and transfer the credit to my electricity account at my new house They screwed it up and sent me a disconnection order instead for non payment And so it goes on I should be back with you guys next week all being wellPS: I would like to make Keithhenry's new position permanant He has earned itThere is more than enough room for a 3rd Vice Captain Is that alright with you Keith?Everyone I know has had some problems with moving into a house - new or used - but I think you've had it a tad more than average Graham. You just keep hacking at it. I love all the plumbers that have adds in the directory about their 24x7 emergency service. That's been the worst part about owning a home, finding a plumber you can get ahold of when you need them. Finally found one. They're not cheap but I can get a callback in minutes in the middle of the night and they're on their way. The work's good too. They were about the 3rd or 4th one I actually used. I was a bit fortunate. The guy we bought from built the house for his family. I have learned what got done when as he was building and when his budget started getting tight. While civilization is only 15 minutes away, the worst noise problem I have are the bugs at night. Sometimes I swear all I need is a monkey joining in to think I was in some jungle. Mule deer are commonplace, white-tail less so (one buck had to be at least a good 3.5 feet at the shoulder), rabbit, wild turkey, not too many squirrel or 'possums (they must prefer the 'burbs) and only one copperhead (baby). Ten years later, there's still plenty to do on the place but it's been a fair trade I think. PS. OK, as long as Dave gets his spot back when he's ready. He's done far more for MOT and WCG than me. |

i agree that keith definitely deserves the position, permanently. for the past couple of weeks he has been keeping the thread alive nearly single handedly.

As some of you know I joined the grid and My Online Team because all of you were very helpful and compassionate. Many of you have prayed for my wife and me and i am very grateful for that. Well after two and one half very agonizing years my wife has lost her battle with Breast Cancer at 5 PM on Sept 30. I was very fortunate enough to keep her home with me and I was loving and holding her hand when she passed into a better world. I just want to tell everyone around the world--Thank You for being there when i asked for help.God bless Mary and you all--Gerald R Marquardt--marysduby
