Sekerob, how many languages do you speak? When we have more material finalised I'm sure we'll call on you for help. Depreins too. At this pont anything or everything could get tossed out and replaced. I would hate to have you do work for nothing. Didactylos, I put up new files with new links that I think are more what a proper welcome page might look like. Click around the links, I've put brief notes on various pages and I think those might give you a better idea of where I'm going. I think you already understand my problem with updating 2 pages with one click. The direction I've chosen to go isn't necessarily the direction we OUGHT to be going in. Maybe we want a totally different look and feel. Let me know if I'm doing any good or if I'm just spinning my wheels.  |

Did you look at my changes before you replaced them?
We seem to be suffering from too many cooks. Perhaps we should talk directly to coordinate things? Do you have a GMail address? |

No I didn't look. I stupidly assumed you would have put your Javascript in the root directory. And I just overwrote the entire English directory. I have a hunch you put your changes there. Doh!!
Yes, we need to coordinate better or one day we'll lose much more than we just did. I don't have GMail, don't even know what that is :) My personal email is k$i$m$b$ergman@sh$a$w.ca. I am on MSN Messenger as d$d$k_007@ho$t$mail.com, remove the $s. Or I might be convinced to install GMail if you think it's better than email or MSN Messenger. |

Sorry Folks I've been busy Didactylos Dagorath sent me his email address to exchange with yourself in the early hours of this morning. I didn't get around to it as I had to be in Burton-on-Trent at 9:30am and I live in West Sussex.

Sek, mon cheval est un petite Arabique, un petite Mustang, un petite je ne c'est quoi pas, certainment pas Quebecor. J'etude la Francais dans l'ecole elementaire avec ma Soeur Therese-Marie (l'Ordre de St. Loius) mais j'oubliez. Je parle la belle langue comme le cowboy pas mon ami dans la belle Provence du Quebec. J'ouvre ma bouche chacun rit.

Didactylos,
Last night I mentioned I would proceed by writing all about CPU heat and cooling issues. I've changed that plan. I am going to leave that topic alone for the moment and get back to it later. Right now I think it makes more sense to get a few pages up on topics that fit under the "What's the Diff Between BOINC and UD" link. I'll lay the foundation with a basic explantion of the functions that both agents perform, the fact they are GUI interfaces for other apps working behind the scenes, etc. From there I will proceed to the differences between the two. I'll be on MSN Messnger for a few hrs tonight, as I am most evenings. If anybody wants to chat on website stuff, use the hotmail address beind the envelope below my sig to contact via MSN Messenger, all are welcome to chat. |
