11. Use secure protocol (https) and encrypt useid/login and personal profile information transmitted to the web site. It is most definitely secured as are all member area pages. How did you come to this conclusion?

I'll answer what I can:
----------------------------------------2. Decimals in Progress Numbers - Adding 2 decimal places (e.g. 6.84%) will allow those of us that have slower machines running feel like those devices are still making progress. There are two places where the percent complete is displayed. On the main Agent screen and on the graphics screen. The main Agent screen is beyond our control as UD would have to change their Agent code. This is unlikely to change. The graphics screen shows tenths of a percent and should be sufficient since the increments are always at least 1 tenth of a percent. 3. Device Management - The ability to roll up the points earned from and remove a device that is no longer running from our lists. It's been discussed but is not on our priority list. One thing to keep in mind is that if a device has returned a work unit, we want to keep that device information around forever in case we have to investigate the results it worked on. If you have a device that you've "retired", it will roll off your "active" devices list two weeks after the date of it's last returned result, so you won't see it unless you view your device history. 4. More Frequent Statistics Updates - For those who may be running multiple machines, you may already have noticed that as any box returns a work unit, your statistics update on that client. If the clients can update the numbers as WU are reutrned, can we get the statistics pages to update more frequently? Hourly maybe if real-time is beyond the capabilities at the moment? This is currently being looked into as we have to measure the impact it will have on our servers and the website response time when the stats are run.

Part two of "I'll answer what I can:"
----------------------------------------6. Translation of the client if it's a "World Community", it should be able to speak the languageS (my specific request would be French language interface) Already discussed and we are preparing for several translations. I can't provide a timeframe or the initial languages we are looking to translate to just yet. CORRECTION I misread the question. My response refers to the website, not the client. Sorry about that. As for the client we do not have any immediate plans for this. 7. Communication between team organizer & members Allow messages to be sent to the team members (a "Message" icon in the "Member Information" area). That's important for team cohesion. Interesting idea. We'll discuss it, but it wouldn't be implemented for some time, if ever. There might be a limitation of the forum software we're using that would prevent this. Just guessing since I don't know the forum software. 8. Adaptative task sizing If possible, size the tasks so that weak processor/low memory machines get the lowest complexity tasks This would be nice, but this is also currently a limitation of the UD software we are using. We are looking at reducing the "average" time it takes for work units to complete. However, due to the non-deterministic nature of the computation, no matter how "small" we make the work units, they could still take days to complete. 9. Tasks prefetch getting at least 2 tasks at once would allow a new task to be loaded in case the machine is not connected when the current task finishes. Also, a current limitation of the UD software. However there are 3rd party tools available that allow you to do this. We don't recommend or encourage their usage. Use them at your own risk.

10. Thread count - Multi CPU or HT enabled machines can only run with one thread. Could be easily solved with dual thread or so. This is a current limitation of the UD Agent software. However, there are 3rd party tools which apparently get around this limitation. We don't encourage their use though. Use are your own risk.

12: It would be sweet to still be able to run the United Devices little blue pill. I am gonna miss it in the icon box. As you may know, you can't run two copies of the UD agent or two copies of the WCG agent. Because the UD agent and the WCG agent are nearly identical, each program looks the same to the other, so if you try to run them both at the same time, they each think an instance is already running.

14. Easy way to exit the UD gui quickly - without having to manually kill it from task manager (If for some reason mem needs to be freed up to do something else, or for whatever reason one might need to shut it down for more than five minutes)... It's easy to exit the agent. Right mouse on the systray icon and select exit. The only trick is that the Agent window must be minimized before this menu will appear. If you want to snooze for longer than 5 minutes, open the agent, go to the Preferences page and change the snooze time to whatever you like. Please don't ever kill the agent via the task manager as you may loose the work you have done. 16. A count-down timer as well. As it is now it's just displaying used time. What do you mean by a "count-down" timer? Count down to what?
