We came a long way together over the past 14 months and I know from others posts that I will not be alone in missing you here in the team thread. I hope that you will drop in on us when you can to let us know how things are going for you. I hope that you enjoy a very Happy Birthday next week and will pray for you as you pursue your new calling. It is very difficult to say goodbye to such a very dear friend, but I guess I must. Thanks for everything you have done for the grid, the team and for me since we met tripping over one another in these forums the first weeks they were opened. vc3b.gif seems to have flown off. It was one of the introductory vulture graphics Graham had made for us. I copied some others for rehosting myself, but missed this one.  I think there were a couple named vc3b at different times, as one of the small badges also had this name.It could have been a king vulture, as I recall.  The others are over here: https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=3881 I've got it. I changed the name slightly and it is hosted here:  I hadn't copied one of Graham's images in the introductory message, and it was deleted. It was restored, and I copied it. Since I can not edit the introductory message after 60 days, it will also be in our team thread for the next time we start a new thread. P.S.: I'm sorry in a way that your team captain found religion and lost his crunching ability. Some other team members are also wandering off due to animosity or sympathy, which is unfortunate. That means that we Seventh Day Agnostics will have to work even harder for some cures. And now, back to the crunching...

Although I do not know David as well as others, I totally agree with the above. Some people have to give 100% to their chosen cause. Fair play - Respect is due. Good luck with your new mission David. As to voting, I will go with the flow and watch the outcome. I crunch for the following reasons: For the greater good For fun Because I can I am not as passionate as others, but as long as MOT keeps the same type of "feel" then I will remain. From my point, the more diverse the better, be it religion, race, age, country. That is what originally attracted me to MOT - No entry restrictions... Long may this continue. |
