Well, MCM is at least partially flowing, My Windows queue is 90% full and the Linux machines are about 75% full.

Half an hour after I had posted about the lack, of OPNG tasks, I was flooded with OPNG tasks.

I haven't seen any "new" OPNG tasks for 8 hours. Only a few OPNG resends.

Out of 64 threads on 3 separate machines, I only run cpu tasks I currently have 36 work units in progress. the Windows machine has almost a full queue, but the Linux machines are only about 25% of the available queue. A bit disappointing, but at least they are getting something. So I think the supply of MCM units remains anemic although I did see there was about 760,000 or so returned on April 3. Based on past performance this only about 50% of the available crunching capacity.

Based on past performance this only about 50% of the available crunching capacity. Cheers That sounds right on. We are processing about 60% of what we actually are capable of doing. Our largest/fastest systems won't stay full across all cores let alone hold any sort of queue (not trying to brag about our systems- just making an observation). We do process GPU work but it probably constitutes 1% of work units that we see. |

And again, we're back to lots of "Error 503 Service Unavailable", and an extremely slow website. And OPNG seems to have gone into hibernation

A bit better after my Apr 4, 2024 4:09:10 PM (Central European Summer Time (CEST)) post. The website is pretty OK now, and I have ripped through 108 OPNG tasks, since then.

The website is spotty his morning with some periodic ""Error 503 Service Unavailable" messages. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.
