Since the weekend is close upon us and today is Good Friday for many, it looks like the supply of MCM is close to being slim or none and perhaps slim has left town. All of my machines are on the way to being dry in an hour or two at the most.
----------------------------------------I guess the supply was fun while it lasted. Cheers

Yeah, MCM tasks seems to be really hard to get now. However as I started to write this, I just got four _0 MCM's.
So Slim is still in town I guess. ![]() |

Woke up this morning with 4 OPNG WUs running, and all machines at least with some MCM running even though not on all threads on the faster machines.
----------------------------------------A lot better that yesterday, but here comes the weekend. ![]() |

it looks like we are getting half the MCM we need (700K instead of 1400K). I had good luck yesterday, but not today. I hope they either up the MCM amount or add other projects to the mix. It is going to be a cold wet holiday weekend for me, so all the better to crank up the machines.

Yup, the MCM well, seems to have gone totally dry. So, we're left with OPNG, and they are not plentiful, and only released in any greater number, 4 times/day.
----------------------------------------And on top of everything, it's the weekends now, and in 40 minutes the WCG team will go home, It's hard to have a computation competition without anything to crunch.... ![]() Edit, added: I just received 3 MCM resends _2, originally sent out on Mar. 23, 2024 - 21:53 UTC. At least that's better than nothing. [Edit 3 times, last edit by Grumpy Swede at Mar 29, 2024 10:01:59 PM] |

No luck here downloading MCM for around the past 7 hours, and OPNG has been extremely spotty. The backup project is downloading work, and I'll run out of WCG work-units in ~2 & 1/2 hours. With the weekend, plus Good Friday and Easter, I'm guessing "That's All Folks" until Monday. ;)

Slim must be in your town because he sure is not here. The drought is upon us as all the machines are dry. Slim left my town too. No MCM for hours, and just a few OPNG tasks. As of now, my only running computer, is totally dry.Cheers |

It looks like half our systems didn't do much today and the slowest of them will probably run out in a few hours.
