Hello ElTilloMemo,
I forwarded this request to the tech team and this was their response: We have implemented a change to sync real time changes to user devices such as the name of the host or the hardware components, which are known to BOINC and that is why the "Results" tab populates the correct, updated information about the host that submitted the result whereas the website is much more coarse and synchronizes from BOINC only when there is effectively a new device entirely. However, we have several other fixes that we have to roll out first such as the MCM1 assimilators being down. That said, this is an urgent priority and we expect that your device names will propagate as soon as we can roll out the fix, which is a new Kafka layer for CDC between the two databases, BOINC and the website which runs on DB2. Very sorry for the inconvenience, and we will announce in the coming weeks as soon as we have deployed the Kafka connect layer. |

I found that I got two accounts, registered in two different E-mails, and that is reason why I didn't see my current device and its contributions of these years, which have been registered in the other account. I think it is okay to keep those two accounts that way if there is no against WCC's policy. And thus thank you ^^ and please send thanks to the tech team for me. Ethan |

I'm glad to hear that you were able to locate this device under your other account! As far as I am aware, our guidelines do not indicate that you are not permitted to hold more than one account. So long as having two accounts is fine with you, it should not be a problem! |

FYI:
I added a newly purchased laptop to my account last evening. I see that the system has recognized my new laptop on its own within 24 hours and did not require any encouragement from anyone to become visible in my DEVICES list so I was able to reassign the profile to what I wanted from “default!” Congratulations and well done! ***** |

I have 3 machines (installed WCG on them 3+ days ago) that are not showing up in the Devices page yet are showing up in the Filter box for the Results page.
----------------------------------------Can this be fixed without me having to go dig for their Computer IDs (machines are not hooked up to monitors and keyboards right now)?
