Does anyone know if we are getting credit for crunching these work units? A couple of weeks ago I got about 15 MCM jobs but I see no change to my stats. TIA No idea. There has been no official word from WCG/Krembil on this issue, though I mentioned this already several times here on the forum. With those few "test WUs" since they came out in late June, I didn't really care, as that would not make a dent in my overall WCG stats, but with about 400WUs since last night, this is getting close to a month in runtime in a day, and if this is going on for a prolonged period of time, I am certainly (like most everyone else) less enthusiastic about seeing all those validated WUs moving in the big eternal bit bucket... Lucky you 400 (maybe) !!! I must say it has gotten noisier in my house with four desktops with fans running. I have left one powered up to trigger turning the others on. If no points awarded, I will be seriously frosted considering I live in AZ!!!

If no points awarded, I will be seriously frosted considering I live in AZ!!! Well, there are only a couple of my own, two and a half i7 with 16GB RAM each, one of them with both Intel and NVidia GPU, the second one only with Intel GPU. The others are machine sitting at clients of mine which either run 24x7 (like some brand new Xeon servers with 64GB and 128GB of RAM, which CPU wise sit other wise idle), CAD workstations or the office machines at a vet clinic that is almost open ofr 24x7, though some of those are running only after office hours. So those 444 (at time I write this before assuming a horizontal position for a few hours) are spread out over 20 or so machines right now, though I know a few that haven't picked up any WCG WUs, inlcuding my tablet and two Android phones... Is this problem on the list?
----------------------------------------Anyway. I'm trying to resurrect the signatures. So far the first hurdle is that the user.xml file (https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/boinc/stats/user.xml.gz), which is basically the starting point of the data collection, has not been updated since feb 23. |

No, because it doesn't appear to be a problem as the file has been updated since February. The file is being updated as one can clearly see. I have downloaded the file on the 3rd of August and today, so I have two copies and I can compare them. Let's do that, so you can see for yourself. $ ls -l /var/tmp/user.xml.gz /tmp/user.xml.gz [Edit 1 times, last edit by adriverhoef at Aug 20, 2022 9:00:35 AM] |

You guys are talking apples and oranges here.
----------------------------------------You are referring to the internal WCG stats, which beside the "Results" part of the "my contribution" page has not been updated, in any form, shape or color since the shutdown. Adrian is referring to the aggregated EXTERNAL stats, which miraculously have been updated ever since the first few test WUs have been send out in June. Again, two completely different things for all practical reasons... Ralf |

So far, things seem to be going a bit more smoothly this morning. I had fewer stuck downloads when I woke up, and they're not staying stuck at least as of this writing.
