Got my 2nd pfizer on June 20th. Arm was half as sore half the time.
----------------------------------------Canada was doing really poorly on 2nd doses, end of May 6% now over 30%. Im hoping to win one of the vaccine millions they are giving away in Alberta to try to get more people to take the shot. I will probably feel guilty if we win, but somehow I think I'll get over it. Air-conditioning and battery backup for the house, first thing I buy! |

Unvaccinated people do more than merely risk their own health. They're also a risk to everyone if they become infected with coronavirus, infectious disease specialists say. That's because the only source of new coronavirus variants is the body of an infected person. CNN : Unvaccinated people are 'variant fa...ous diseases expert says. |

If you have already been exposed to the virus. You already have antibodies so why would you get a shot with all kinds of ill side effects..

If you have already been exposed to the virus. You already have antibodies so why would you get a shot with all kinds of ill side effects.. Good question.... Do I still need the vaccine if I’ve already had COVID-19? Absolutely. While we know recovering from a COVID-19 infection means you will have circulating antibodies in your system, we are still learning about how the immune system handles the antibody response after a natural infection. We’re not sure how protective the antibodies are from different kinds of infections — such as an asymptomatic infection versus a symptomatic infection. With vaccination, we know that people with healthy immune systems are getting a great antibody response. So I would recommend vaccination even after a COVID-19 infection to get the best protection. On top of that, if you live with people who are at higher risk of severe infection or may not develop a strong antibody level after vaccination, getting your own COVID-19 vaccination may make it less likely that you will transmit the virus to them. The UK have had a death from a reinfection, so yes, you do need to vaccinate. The antibodies and vaccines seem to have a limited life.
We are already talking here about a booster jab rolling out with the flu jab. Quite possibly the opposite type to what we have already had to give a wider coverage. Mike |

I don't get the Flu shot either.
----------------------------------------My wife has a customer (27y) who got the shot and developed bell's palsy. another who had curly hair that is now straight. Others have blood clots (some in lungs other's in legs). While these may not have been from the shot. They were all healthy until they got it. I'm not taking any chances on being a test subject for this.. |

'Correlation doesn’t imply causation'.
A whole anti-vaccination industry was spawned from flawed research concerning the MMR vaccine in the UK in the early 2000s. |

There is no risk-less activity. I choose to mitigate my risks by getting the vaccine. Is there a a possibility of an adverse reaction to the vaccine ? Yes, it is possible. Is there a risk to getting sick from Covid-19. Yes there is. Based on the efficacy of the vaccine, I can minimize #1, getting the the disease and #2, dying from the disease from the remote chance I do get it. I think the risks associated with getting the disease outweigh the chances of having a bad reaction to the vaccine.
----------------------------------------There was a story in the Sunday Minneapolis Star/Tribune about a 46 year old healthy man who had put off the getting vaccine because he was busy and would do it "sometime." He died, but before he did he urged his wife to get their kids vaccinated. I'm taking my chances with the vaccination. Cheers
Sgt. Joe
