I'm in Canada (Montreal). I had my first dose of AstraZeneca two weeks ago today (April 21). My second dose is scheduled for August (which is too long, IMHO). But will AstraZeneca even be available? It seems like only Pfizer is able to keep up supply. I did read that more Astrazeneca is planned, I think a couple million by june or so. But yeah 2million pfizer next week and a million moderna. |

Hopefully we waited for our town in the south of Paris to open a vaccination center with only the Pfizer.
----------------------------------------We were eligible for the shot since a long time but choose to go on self prolonged lockdown till now The 3 of us are programmed for next week.I say in advance because we fear a bit about some nasty counter-effects of it. Nobody here have comments about how their body reacted after the vaccine shot?? |

The AstraZeneca vaccine side effect for me was that it felt as if a cold was about to begin - this lasted less than 36 hours.
Friends who had the Pfizer vaccine had a sore / stiff arm for a couple of days. |

There are shortages of the AZ because many are manufactured in India who need all that they produce at the moment. Also the EU has banned export of it even though some of the EU production facilities were created with money from UK and the vaccine itself was developed by Oxford University with UK money.

Nobody here have comments about how their body reacted after the vaccine shot?? Neither myself nor my wife had any side effects from the Pfizer shot, not even a sore arm. I have a brother who had Covid-19. He had a small reaction to the first shot, but after the second shot he had a headache, body aches, fever, and chills. It lasted about a day. He spent most of it in bed and took acetaminophen for the fever. With in 36 hours he was back to normal. He had the Pfizer shots. Cheers

The AstraZeneca vaccine side effect for me was that it felt as if a cold was about to begin - this lasted less than 36 hours. After taking the vaccine shot of AstraZeneca one week ago in the afternoon it wasn't until midnight that I started feeling shivery. Didn't sleep much and the next day I was slow in walking. Then, after that day, it was almost normal, still feeling a tiny little bit in the haze. |

I'm in Australia, I'm not in a high-risk group and don't work in a vital services area so I'm not eligible for a vaccination yet. My group is 2nd to last on the vaccines priority list (the lowest being children).

My wife with severe asthma had no problem with Pfizer on either occasion.

Nobody here have comments about how their body reacted after the vaccine shot?? I felt a little pain/soreness in the arm where I got the shot when I raise it above my shoulders for a few hours...only with the first shot. |
