Not sure if this is the correct forum to ask... what happens to the WUs that are used for Beta testing?

It depends on the research project. Some are not run in production again. Some are rerun but with modified parameters. Also, I have started a new beta test (v7.15) today: https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg...ead,42310_offset,0#625255 Thanks, -Uplinger |

Thanks for letting us know on the new beta (v7.15) uplinger. I just got a new beta WU and was wondering if another run was being made.
Uplinger, do you want to start a new communication on this on the forum so we can feed you you updates for this new beta run separate from this April 20, 2020 postings? |

Not sure what else you are looking for but the four i have are all honoring the checkpoints. BETA_OPN1_0000333_1636_1 BETA_OPN1_0000333_2105_0 BETA_OPN1_0000333_4676_0 BETA_OPN1_0000333_7189_1 Yes I can second this. It would seem every time a checkpoint is written in my case roughly every 10 minutes/600 seconds all the checkpoint files are rewritten with exactly the same timestamp. WCG_checkpoint_1 through to WCG_checkpoint_15 . Nice touch with the local time of each docking :)  |

The checkpoints for a given work unit should vary between them. With the new sizing, some workunits may do 23 dockings, and others may be combined with multiple ligands and run 1500 dockings. It attempts to do a checkpoint after every docking.
This also, means that if you have two ligands in a work unit, 1 that is more complicated and takes 20 minutes per docking and the second is easy taking 5 minutes per docking. Then your splits for when it checkpoints may vary also. Thanks, -Uplinger |
