The latest figures show just 5 units validated in 24 hours after an average of nearly 17 days. This equates to the last new units being sent out on 18 October. Apart from that equation, the last new units have been sent out on 20 October. My last new ARP1-task was ARP1_0027266_139_0, sent by the server at 2022-10-20T07:09:30. |

Mike, where do you see that status for the project? Much appreciated.

Max_generation of the Extremes is currently 124.
Just received the following Extremes: ARP1_0009973_108_1 ARP1_0033952_110_1 ARP1_0034316_110_1 ARP1_0034174_116_0 ARP1_0033795_117_1 ARP1_0033719_119_0 ARP1_0033637_123_0 ARP1_0033318_123_1 ARP1_0033712_124_2 |

Just an observation. At 17:24 UTC I received 9 OPNG-tasks; when the queue's file transfer got to these 9 tasks at 17:33 UTC (after many transient HTTP download errors for all the ARP1-files), the OPNG-files were downloaded in a jiffy.
----------------------------------------After those 9 OPNG-tasks were all downloaded successfully (which was 35 seconds later), the queue's file transfer got around to the beginning of the queue again, where the really big ones are lying around, waiting to be downloaded: the ARP1-files. So it seemed that the OPNG-tasks were really diverted or re-routed to a different download server. Afterword: 2 à 3 hours later, it must have been a lucky draw, I'm seeing too many transient HTTP download errors to warrant the conclusion that there is an extra download server for OPNG-tasks. So it seemed that the OPNG-tasks were really diverted or re-routed to a different download server. I suspect it's more a matter of how many long-running downloads happen to finish (or stop early with "wrong size" errors!) at about the same time. I was watching a mixture of OPNG, MCM1 and ARP1 trying to sort itself out on one of my systems (with very infrequent use of retry to try to defeat the stupidly long backoff times...) and it was having little bursts of getting maybe four or five small files then back to deferring the next files (large or small). Your earlier post about large files and connections that I referenced further up this thread seems on point here... But, as many folks have pointed out, whilst the (one or two person?) tech team is busy with [other] issues they don't seem to have time to put together enough information to stop us speculating... [cue Ralf :-) ...] Cheers - Al. |

Adri - have you got the work-unit number and, perhaps, creation date for that 139 unit (or any other initial tasks received after the 18th? It might offer a clue as to whether the throttling is at work-unit generation or at the feeder... Cheers - Al. |

Welp, turned “send Alternates in Primary Unavailable” back on and guess what? I now have over a dozen ARP work units.

I do have workunit-IDs; the creation dates are gone, though, they are not recorded in the API-results.After the 18th I received the following initial ARP1-tasks: SentTime WorkunitId Name |

Just Jake
I have been getting my figures from the following daily outputs from Krembil, produced some time after 12:00 GMT (UTC). https://download.worldcommunitygrid.org/boinc...rp1_stats/generations.txt https://download.worldcommunitygrid.org/boinc/download/arp1_stats/state.txt https://download.worldcommunitygrid.org/boinc/download/arp1_stats/completed.txt From <https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg...ead,41910_offset,1600> The estimates of the previous end of downloads was based on the average length of time reported in completed.text and the numbers completed from generations.txt I received 8, 6-day normals, about 9 hours ago in 2 batches.
