Strange. My profile still allows up to 8 ARP but no mention.

AFAIR you can get "tasks for other platforms" as last line rather than detail line for type when there are re-sends in the feeder buffer that need a specific platform to match the original, e.g. tasks for Linux when you have Windows.

I'm still getting this line in the log
Tue Nov 1 07:14:07 2022 | World Community Grid | No tasks are available for Africa Rainfall Project but they haven't sent any out for a while, so I'm going to my backup project. They said they were having issues with OPNG doing something weird to the system, so I'm not sure why they aren't giving us more ARP. |

When I get none available for opn1, opng, hst & mcm I get no mention of arp. I only get the other platforms message when one of the others is not listed, indicating that that is the one referred to - not arp.

The numbers being returned this week are 75 validated on Monday and 42 on Tuesday. They are all normal units and the average time is 13 days.
This indicates that none are being sent out, except possibly resends. My Event Log seems to indicate ARP1 has been turned off as there is no mention of it despite being set in my profile. Mike |

47 results returned yesterday. I'm over on Milkyway until they give us more ARP. They manage to trickle in new MCMs no problem, not sure why they can't give us a few ARP in a slow trickle to lessen the http errors. |

I was going by another set of stats that are 12 hours apart from your stats, but they both show the same trend downwards which indicates nothing new being sent.

Mike,
Have you noticed anything strange about the state.txt numbers for the first two days of November? I'm seeing a set of numbers that add up to less than 30,000, whereas they previously always added up (as one would expect) to the total number of grid cells (and I presume I'm seeing the only available version of the file...) Cheers - Al. |

Al
This is only a guess but I have been reporting a discrepancy in the extremes and accelerated units for some time. Even more have dropped off that report this week. I think they have dropped off all the units that have not moved for some time. This also applies to the normal units. My reports are based on generations.txt and all 35,609 units are still there. This brings up the question of what is going on here? Why have they stopped issuing ARP units? The last day's returns took an average of 14 days indicating that no new units have been issued for 2 weeks. Mike |
