I would agree with Unixchick, but we don't need high multiples sent out. We just need some extremes sent out. Only 3 extremes have validated in the last week and none of the 3 ultras.

Have the others all stuck again? Do they need a change of step size as worked previously?

I haven't received any ARP units for days, nor MCM. OPN have been readily available.

Just got 8 tasks taking forever to download needing lots of retries.

9,228 units validated in 7 days, so average of 1,318.3 per day. This is down nearly half on last week.

Assuming that a full generation 182 will be the last, there are 1,776,539 units still outstanding, so my forecast end date would now be 18 July 2024, however we are still coming out of testing so we should finish well before then.

Because the forecast has been swinging wildly of late, I have changed the formula so that the last 5 weeks are taken into account instead of just the last week.

None of the 3 ultra extremes have moved in the last week. Have they stuck again? Do they need their timestep adjusted?

The definitions have increased this week to 124, 130 & 140.

There are still 102 Extremes and 164 Accelerated units, although the numbers in their generations are 124 & 3,705 due to lack of movement (up 18 & 1,413 due to the change of definition)

The situation with downloading units is still dire.

You are not alone!

There only about 1,300 units being validated per day and they are all "normal" units, so that equates to 2,600 copies being sent out for crunching. As there are tens of thousands of us wanting the work, that means that we would be lucky to get 1 per week.

I haven't seen 1 for days but got about 12 then for 8 threads. Maybe I'll see another next week.

Meanwhile there are MCM & OPN to crunch. I'll increase the number of machines when I see a better supply and faster downloading.
