I'm looking forward to a new project and would love to see one launch before the heating season is over to take advantage of the heat.

They have released a Linux and/or Win Only app until the other could be finish/fixed. That is probably so they can ensure that they validate against each other properly, as mentioned above. However, if it would speed up the process, they could release a smaller project (or series in a project) only for Linux, and then do one only for Windows later. I think they need to think outside the box on this one. We won't be able to repeat these studies again, at least our civilization. |

If I remember in the Past They have released a Linux and/or Win Only app until the other could be finish/fixed. Correct. When Clean Energy Phase 2 was first released it was Linux only for a long time.
In 1969 I took an oath to defend and protect the U S Constitution against all enemies, both foreign and Domestic. There was no expiration date.

Maybe they learned something from that...about not doing that again!

Maybe they learned something from that...about not doing that again! If it is just a question of validation to determine whether there are gross errors, it may not be necessary for the results to be identical out to the last digits. I think they need to compare the benefits of such precision with the cost of not getting the results earlier. |

The ice will have melted by the time a project shows up. Perhaps this is one of those items you could classify as #FakeNews

#FakeNews...not, since it wasn't announced on Fox News (not)!

We had better leave behind good records carved in stone for the next civilization, or they will wonder what happened to us.

We had better leave behind good records carved in stone for the next civilization, or they will wonder what happened to us. Don't worry, they will find a perfectly preserved Google data center with thousands and thousands of hard-drives full of cat-videos from youtube. They will simply assume we were all a part of some technologically advanced worldwide cat-cult. [Edit 1 times, last edit by thepeacemaker7 at Apr 28, 2019 1:59:54 AM] |
