I just pushed the other 7 batches to the queue. Also, these will be testing the children process as well, so they will come in bursts when I manually kick off that process. Thanks again for helping us test. Uplinger And my 8c/16t PC got 16 of them! My beta catcher got 10 more about 1.5 hours ago! |

I have observed that with this unit,
----------------------------------------'FAH2_002229_zinc00696116_000002_000016_002_0' the progress bar was restarted after about 1, xxx percent. That is surely a mistake? ................................................... WIN 7 / CPU i7 4770K @ 3.50GHz / RAM 16GB BM 7.14.2 ................................................... Likewise at 'FAH2_002223_zinc00656390_000004_000041_001_1' After about 1.5xx percent and 2: xx minutes. ............. WIN 10 / i7-6500U @ 2.50 GHz / RAM 8 GB BM 7.14.2 ............. Best regards [Edit 1 times, last edit by Meiner Einer at Dec 30, 2018 7:16:05 AM] |

When the parents are the first generation e.g. FAH2_ 002228_ zinc00671629_ 000002_ 000063_ 001_ 0--,FAH2_ 002229_ zinc00696116_ 000001_ 000054_ 002_ 0-- is one of the next generation and FAH2_ 002222_ zinc00656237_ 000002_ 000083_ 003_ 0-- one of the next-next generation. How many generations do you plan to test in this beta-run? |

FWIW I'm seeing a huge difference in memory usage between linux and windoze. Less than 300 MB on windoze, close to 1 GB on linux per task.

Finally caught one. 12 1/2 hours on a Xeon E5410. Ran just fine, no problems. Same as Nanoprobe, close to 1gb on Linux.

The first of my WinXP WUs has validated, so they seem to run OK. It looks like the build process needs to be updated to include a step to lower the required target OS level.

How many generations do you plan to test in this beta-run? I do not have a plan on how many to test. I don't think I'll get too deep. Probably no more than 5 generations would be my guess at this moment, but I need to see what we get back first. Also, Happy early New Years to everyone. I will be off these next two days. So extra work during this time might not come unless I have time. Thanks, -Uplinger |

My Windows XP machine creates this error on all units. Windows 7 looks to be O.K though. <core_client_version>7.4.36</core_client_version> <![CDATA[ <message> couldn't start app: CreateProcess() failed - (unknown error) </message> ]]> Does your windows xp machines work properly with the version for FAHB in production? Or do you get this error with those work units as well? Thanks, -Uplinger |

I probably should have mentioned this in my last two posts. Thank you everyone for helping us test these updated workunits and process! I really appreciate the work from all the volunteers! Happy early New Years to all!
