We had our monthly call with the HSTB researchers this morning.
1. They're creating new work units to send to us. By tomorrow evening they want to have ~ 12,000 batches. The WCG tech team will do testing on the new units once we receive them. There will be a post in the HSTB forum about the new work units once they're ready to go. 2. The search for new students continues, but mid-year is a difficult time of year to get interest. Additionally, recruitment for PhD students has been especially hard across the university for the past year. 3. One of the papers they've been working on has been accepted for publication. We'll post a link once it's published. |

They recently sent us more new work units, with plans to create more after these more recent batches. No additional news on recruiting students/team members, but their efforts continue. |

There's nothing to beat being hopeful. I prefer to think 1 badge at a time - in your case 2 years and 5 years first.
It would be great to eradicate TB worldwide. We almost did it years ago in UK but then people didn't bother getting their kids vaccinated because it was almost gone and immigrants came in with it. We should have required them to be vaccinated! Mike |
