I've been running a Beta resend task for over 8.5 hours. Now I see that the recipient who caused my resend finished late and that job was valid. I hope that after all this time I don't lose everything if the server decides to abort the task. I am the top task with _3.

The banana question, why 60 and not 544.8, which is the canonical for the first 2?
Once started jobs are not aborted unless there's a 'no longer usable' state, or tech intervention. 2 Lire |

The banana question, why 60 and not 544.8, which is the canonical for the first 2? Dunno! Just seeing what happens. All Valids have done the same work, at least had the same cpu hours. The pattern is, there's no pattern [and humans are exquisitely expert in seeing patterns when there's none, just random noise. Annoying grime in the whole points topic, the TSIB in this one, practically 1/8th exact and is that not how many checkpoints there were many moons ago :?

Let's see, 544.8 / 68.1 = ? (Yes you guessed it, a very exact 8/1th)

Rob, you're right. 12.5% of the originally 2 tasks.

The original BETA_*_0 returning after the deadline of 96 hours, but before the already started resend is able to return. Normally in BOINC-land all 3 will get the same credit in such a situation, but ..sighhh.. this is WCG-land. [Edit 2 times, last edit by Crystal Pellet at Oct 14, 2016 6:13:17 AM] |

I have decreased the number of jobs the validator expected to 5. This will be fixed for future results that are validated due to the type B work units. Thanks, -Uplinger |
