You mean Gridcoin? I am there just for fun ;-) Anyway, I think once this project has a 32bit windows app more users will see workunits in their machines, me included as my Windows XP machines are 32bit and I have 2 other Windows 10 machines that are 32bit

I have no question on the legality of bitcoin, gridcoin. Just the ethical concerns I have with using a humanitarian organisation like WCG and use it to maybe one day make money. Xcoin may one day become the legal tender that will replace the actual money. ‘til then will anyone give real money for crunching here. Don’t think so….. ![]() Regards Rej ![]() THE ).( IS NAKED! Do you know what your PC is doing ??? |

Donât think soâ¦.. ![]() Regards Rej Well, if you're talking about some people which use their account on their firm/university computers for farming...yes, you're correct that's it's a Greedcoin! but there are a lots of us which use Gridcoin for gaining some money for our private computers which we use...the need maintenance after all: new HDD or SSD, newer CPUs, larger RAM, ... & Gridcoin has a White-list projects...it's not only WCG on it! ![]() It encourages contribution though and almost only pays for the electricity used. Not sure how I'd paid my bills with my Gridcoin generating only 2.000 GRC in 6m...which comes back as $5 per 1m! So no, it's not that much...but it's a start! As for all the people using cloud-computing in form of firms or university computers...I really don't have any comment other than "Greedcoin"! ![]() ---------------------------------------- [Edit 2 times, last edit by KLiK at Apr 26, 2016 6:14:03 AM] |

In addition to HST, I'm crunching OET, and since I only get a few HST, most of my crunching is OET. That's OK since OET is an important project.
----------------------------------------As I mentioned in an earlier post, I'm getting 1-3 HST per day for my 12 threads. When I see a HST in my queue, I start it running so it will complete before its deadline. ![]() |
