I haven't gotten a task in 6 days, and those are only the days that I have my laptop powered on 24/7. But it might by easily longer (no log available though for that as far as I know). This HST project sucks a little like that... :(

My last workunit is from May 2. At least I now have a bronze badge, but at this rate it will take forever to get the other badges for this project.

It was weekend, so there will have been little added to the queue i.e. Sunday was good for 11,909 validations... say 12K/Day is the going number for the last week or 250 per 30 minutes, if that is still the tempo of release. not trying, but my laptop has 3 on them this moment, all _2, resents. Making sure the queue never goes above ~48 hours, so the reliable tag is maintained... those _2 are random time if pertaining to repairs [No reply I guess still go out very close to the regular distribution interval times... not going to sit there trying to hit servers... achieving an average of 1.83 computing day, so next contribution objective will be reached round about May 17 ;]

Am I right in thinking that these units will become more bountiful in the future. At the moment, they are limited but will generate more units in the future and then it will be easier to badge hunt?

You could be right, you could be wrong, whatever we write is pure speculation on rather vague information... As of last night we did 339K results for 495 years and the Research page indicates indicated 10% progress [sniffing thin air gives as good an answer on progress]. The simpleton equation is then that there's ~4500 years to do for ~3.1M results. Not exactly bountiful.

Either there's more supply or the techs thought the 3-33 cycle got too popular for their taste... got a set of _1 originals in amongst the UGMs. smile

I switched my project preferences on my laptop to only HSTB and hit the update button at 1 minute past the hour and 31 minutes past the hour... requires some patience, didnt work every time, but enough to earn me a silver badge! (plus one bonus beta workunit)

Noticed a new type T001 on the 4770 crawler, which is at 60% on 1:40 hours i.e. is projected to finish in ~2:48 hours, slightly more than the T000, on this clunker.

Sliding down validation counts again based on morning numbers... ~10.6K, day 48 of the project.

The 3-33 cycle is still working very nicely for me. Have 64 units in progress right now, all of which were sent on 3/33. The supply is getting better, but haven't tried running HST only lately. Maybe I should give that another try...
