Re: New Beta Test for PC - July 29, 2015 [ Issues Thread ]

6 Concurrent, the longest running 2:14 hours still on 99.5%+ efficiency, just over 10% i.e. those babies are going to run 20 plus hours if the indication is proper. As my Write to disk is set to 300 seconds, 10 checkpoints logged by BOINCTasks meets the specification. Peak memory still not reached above 100Mb... highest 94MB.

BTW, the 'Brand new application' infers nothing on a new image square that could be appearing in the not too distant future. Will it go into the same pot as FAAH and FAHV ;?... time will tell ;)

All signal codes, 4 being SIGIL, illegal instruction listed here: http://boincfaq.mundayweb.com/index.php?view=165

No Reply in 24 minutes is weird, but good for you you snapped up the _2

Have a number of _1. It said "This first Beta test will have over 3000 work units to be sent out with a quorum of 1", but since no device has a reliable state for this application yet, copies required are 2 i.e. there's at least 6000 to compute.

? If buffer full, there's no work requesting. If the buffered total estimated runtime drops below it's setting, then beta is the first to be sent, if there are any in the feeder. Think by now the mother-load has been exhausted though.

Re: New Beta Test for PC - July 29, 2015 [ Issues Thread ]

Interesting, as the 35 max -was- the total per core rather than 35 per science. Indicates that Beta has been put outside of this equation.

Re: New Beta Test for PC - July 29, 2015 [ Issues Thread ]

Correct, the first set of work units have been exhausted. I don't believe we will have any new work for probably the next week. As this is our first beta with this science application, it will probably require a few iterations of testing.

Thanks,
