Absent qualification on technical limitation, doubt AVX refers to a CPU feature... that'd lock out many a device. Maybe workunits are tailored to an instruction set for different CPU's :) But yeah, I doubt it. AVX is the workunit name from the researchers. Not instruction set.
The work units should checkpoint ever 1%. It should be very regular with intermediate uploads and trickle messages coming back every 10% of the work unit. Thanks, -Uplinger |

That trickle method would have been handy during the ACAH project... crunching full time, but only uploading 10%... some scheme that was. :/

The WUs don't appear in the Filter by Project Name "Beta Testing" in Results Status.

4 concurrent, efficiency 99+ percent after 30 minutes. V7.09 already in first beta... memory usage moderate. See nothing with peak-workset of over 93MB... but then it's only 30 minutes of 15 hours, probably more on my half speed running CPUs [heatwave continues]
