Re: Running Projects

Any idea how Poem@home runs five at once? Maybe they are just set up differently?

The fifth Poem@home workunit is probably running on your GPU.
I tried running all cores plus a WCG GPU project and the computer couldn't handle it. Some advice at the time said to adjust preferences enough to keep one regular core open. I'm not doing any GPU things at all now. Some may also depend on what project and what graphics card.

Re: Running Projects

Hi ! Is the disk activity of CEP2 WUs a normal behavior ? When crunching on only one CEP2 task, my HDD seems to be on knees.

Thanks.

Yep. That's why it's an opt-in project.

Re: Running Projects

OK, that's new then, because I didn't have any problem before. OK, I leave it disable for now, maybe later :)

Re: Running Projects

Is there a way to force CEP2 WUs to work on another hard disk drive of my choice ?
