well, if we include at least 1 week of during the Christmas & NYE...& about 1 week around Easter...

The following figures are based on a total number of work units of 530,000,000 from cubes (project scientist) with the addition of Seippel (WCG tech).
----------------------------------------Hello all, We've received an update on the estimate batch count from the researchers that has added another 9000 batches making the new estimate 26,500 batches. However, this is only an estimate (a lot can change in the almost one year it will take to complete these new batches). Also, the progress bar on the webpage has been updated accordingly. Thanks, Seippel Last 30 day average results:554,040 Estimated end date using 30 day average: August 22, 2016 Percent Complete:73.39485% The average length of a WU is currently running about 4.03 hours, the same as last week. If I look at the latest batch I have received, 19451, that would be about 73.4% complete. We are at about 8.48 more months (approx. 254 days)of additional crunching at the current recent run rate. The days in the past week ,on average, were about the same run times as the week before. The projected completion date has decreased a bit since last week. Production increased a bit this past week going from about 3.56 million WU's to 3.63 million WU's completed. Remember, the situation can change at any time and these are only estimates. Times they are a changin... in news update was announced a transition to ovarian cancer for early 2016. It will be an interesting transition when it happens. I wonder if we will see a change in the average length of the WU's or if it will pass by in a smooth transition. ?????... Cheers

...MCM has the grand scale resource share on WCG, ... Indeed, an average of ~250 years every day (link if needed) which works out to an equivalent of more than 90,000 cores going 24/7. Insane :) |
