Nice to see us break a million points a day today. We last did that once back in September. Before that, it was a good five months ago. The new Mapping Cancer Markers project shoud be starting very soon finally (see this site for more info). This last beta seems to have gone well and there seems to be some prep work happening with the website. I know that a lot of us have been anxiously awaiting this project and we'll be diving in headfirst!

I have not seen any of the restart problems since the betas all were running at a Beta Test level of 7.22 or higher. I did a search this morning to see if any of the android devices executed any of the Beta tasks and I could find no evidence that any betas were received by the androids.
On another note, I had read in one of the Beta threads that restarts would be stopped after reaching 100 restarts. I went to the messages I received starting 10/31 and counted as best I could, and found that the number of restarts eventually exceeded 1000 (yes, one thousand). If something has not been put in BOINC to limit the number of restarts, it should be put in... |
