Hi all,
In order to get any work done, I had to ABORT beta tasks that showed up in my messages as being "Restarted". If you are executing any BETAs that are continuously restarting, you need to abort those tasks or your compute time will be lost. In reviewing the processing of one of these tasks, I saw that it would execute for less than 3 minutes before doing a restart. |

From my reading of the thread for this beta over in the Beta Support forum, the current thinking is that it is an antivirus problem with the A/V blocking the task and BOINC restarting it. That's not been finalized yet though. |

That's not been finalized yet though. If this is the case, I do use Norton Internet Security. But, I can only say that is the case for three of our machines. I don't know what A/V software is being used on the two other machines having the problem. Edit: I did check with the owner of the other two machines and he says that MSFT A/V software is being used.
