Re: Good morning everyone

Good evening all. Everything quiet on the Eastern Front? No comments on Sunday's F1 GP Tom]/b]?

Re: Good morning everyone

I didn't post on the F1 Rod so as not to inadvertently give out any spoilers. Hamilton got driver of the day, coming fourth after starting from the pit lane, well deserved. I always watch live on sky sports so cant really post about it at the time. I well enjoyed the race though...

Re: Good morning everyone

Strangely enough Tom I also watched it live on Sky Sports but via an Australian (illegal) live streaming service with hubs in the USA, Europe and Austrailia. There is a 30 second delay from the F1 App so I listen to the 5 live commentary (frequently getting a mention for my tweets) and watch out for the action on my computer. Best of both worlds although I have to get up at some ridiculous hours for the Asian leg of the season.

Re: Good morning everyone

Good morning everyone. Nice to see mac1 getting two Diamond 10 badges in the same week. That must be very gratifying.

Re: Good morning everyone

Well done mac1, my jaw hit my desk when I read that, it must be a very gratifying feeling indeed.

A diamond 10 is hard enough to get but 2 in a week is astounding.
Did you plan it or was it just one of those things?

Re: Good morning everyone

I do not believe it, Twitter has suspended my account for "Breaking the Rules".
This would be pretty hard for me to do as I practically only used the account to follow the Belfast Giants. This is the "useful" message I got in response of my asking what has happened and why.

---
Your account was permanently suspended due to multiple or repeat violations of the Twitter Rules: https://twitter.com/rules.

This account will not be restored.

Please do not respond to this email as replies will not be monitored.
---

So that is OK then!

I have sent another email asking them what rule I have broke, lets hope I get a decent explanation. I rarely tweet, something like 80 since the account was created. I am really flummoxed about this.

Re: Good morning everyone

Are you sure it's not a scam email? Does the link really point to Twitter?

Re: Good morning everyone

Most certainly genuine, I first noticed that the account was locked on my phone.
I had no warning, no communication other than via email, all initiated by myself.
My communication was done via twitter support web forms, which is then sent to my email address.
I have no idea what has happened.
If anyone knows of a UK phone number I can call, I wold appreciate a link.
Twitter just doesn't seem to care, and are condemning me without any recourse.

Re: Good morning everyone

Well, well, well, I am flabbergasted, here is a response from twitter;

---
We've unsuspended your account; sorry for the inconvenience. Please note that it may take an hour or so for your follower and following numbers to return to normal.

Twitter has automated systems that find and remove multiple automated spam accounts in bulk. Unfortunately, it looks like your account got caught up in one of these spam groups by mistake.
---

I appreciate them owning up to the mistake and apologising, something that you do not get all that often.
Problem resolved, someone must have looked into my activity and found the mistake. I think it has something to do with the multiple setups while getting the threadripper up and running, I guess it could look like suspicious behavior.
What I did not appreciate was the threatening correspondence, which I have not posted here, threats which will mean nothing to spammers but is quite disturbing to ordinary users
Anyway, back to WCG.
