Diamond 50's - the stuff of dreams Tom!
----------------------------------------Nice to see your output has shot up Steven (DMNI). I guess the new behemoth is working well?

I've switched my project-preference to a mixture of SCC (only just got Diamond-10, a long way from Diamond-20), and MCM (which is considerably into Diamond-50 and working towards Diamond-100)!
----------------------------------------Still waiting for the cached WUs to work through, to see how much (if any) effect the change in projects has on my server's RAM-utilisation. ![]() |

My stats are going to reduce dramatically within the next couple of days, after a couple of very high electricity bill, (up to £500 per month) I am going to turn off one of my servers for a few months. That's a scary bill Tom! I have had to reduce my output between rendering due to costs as I have to air condition the loft space to remove the heat generated from my workstations which is costly and also makes the air very dry. If we have a cold winter, I will increase output as the space heating is very welcome!

Diamond 50's - the stuff of dreams Tom! Nice to see your output has shot up Steven (DMNI). I guess the new behemoth is working well? Yes DC, it seems to work best with a mixture of units, I guess more is gotten out of the hyperthreading that way. I have had it running for the past 3 days so it is ramping up. Going to do some Linux installs over the weekend, have a few fixes and drivers to experiment with. After using windows 10 for a few days, it has reminded me of just how horrible it is. I hate the flat look, can't stand the ribbon menus, the file manager is an ugly monster, and the start menu is a real pain in the a£$e. I want my linux xfce back. ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by Darkmatter.NI at Oct 27, 2017 6:33:54 PM] |

I'm running on Linux again, thankfully.

Good morning / afternoon / evening all. Congratulations on your 10 year diamond for MIP Tom, I have yet to reach 1 CPU year but I hope to get there when the researchers start awarding a reasonable amount of points. I'm one CPU year away from my 10year diamond for SCC though.
----------------------------------------How many of you watched Mexico (F1 GP) today. With my new high(er) speed internet I managed to stream pretty well the whole show (broadcast or web ripped from Australia). It's great because I watch the timing screens on my iPad with radio 5 live commentary and watch the Fox / Sky broadcast with the sound turned low. Only 2 more races this season - I'm going to miss my dose of Formula 1

Good morning all. Yes Rod I did watch F1 on Sky.
I did a quick calculation of the number of points per day of currently active projects for my machine(s) Project....Points per day MIP ......2448 SCC......4188 Zika .....3124 HSTB .....3538 FAH2 .....3376 OET.......2501 MCM......3246 FAH......3864 So MIP and OET and the meanest and SCC the most generous |
