Good morning all
----------------------------------------I've just clocked up my 50 years of run time. I shall celebrate, by doing nothing at all! I can remember being (slightly) excited when my run time exceeded my age (quite a while ago now). I will have a small celebration when I pass my 100 years RT for Team UK in the next few days (but I don't really need an excuse for a drink). My next big milestone will be 20,000,000 credits which should equate to about 140,000,000 points, sometime in late July. When my SCC 5 yr Diamond is tucked under my belt I'm heading for my 20 years OET (which would be my first 20Y diamond). Onwards and upwards.

World Community Grid: World Community Grid Moves to IBM Cloud On May 15, World Community Grid will begin migrating to IBM Cloud, as part of an effort to modernize and enhance our infrastructure capabilities. Our system will be unavailable for approximately 48 hours while the migration takes place, but otherwise the move will not affect most volunteers. Things are changing, hope they look at modernizing the forums too! I do wonder what changes, if any, we'll see. And many congratulations DCR on 50 years RT  As I didn't do much this evening, I think I inadvertently joined in your celebrations  |

Evening all.
----------------------------------------Team GB (Ice Hockey, What else!) are playing in a tournament in Belfast this week. 3 wins out of 3 so far, win all 5 games and they get a Gold Medal and promotion into the top group, Division 1 Group A, currently in 1B. Got my ticket for Saturday night where they play the other main contender Japan. Should be a cracker, winner takes all. Good morning all. A cold, overcast day here today (16C). It's quite surprising to see the locals walking around in clothes that would not be out of place in the arctic! Nevertheless, temperature is always relative and when you frequently get days here where the temperature at night doesn't drop below 25C, 16C feels mighty cold. I personally blame the Argentinians as the temperature always drops here when the wind comes from the South.
