Morning team, I am in high spirits this morning, I've shaken that virus off and recovered most of my strength, helped by a dinner of Fish and Chips from the best Chippy in a 20 mile radius (probably more), definitely one of life’s guilty pleasures. Morning all. Good to read you are feeling better DMNI. I certainly agree about going to the chippy although it is sausage and chips for me. Fortunately there's a good chippy a short distance from me. Good morning all from soggy Santa Cruz. It looks like the rainy season is living up to it's name here. I'm missing the sun although the temperatures are still over 20C.
----------------------------------------Hmmm.... Fish and Chips. Yes we can get that here but the fish is called Surubi - a river fish - and is somewhat coarse and dry. I have yet to find an establishment that cooks chips properly and the Tartar sauce that they serve lacks the bite of the UK variety. I'm going to have to make my own!

The best chippy I have ever been to was (is) in Strabane. They actually give you 2 large pieces of fish, I wish I could find one half as good locally...

My highly sophisticated Sophie UTM firewall/router has broken. It is limping along, informing me by email every hour or so that it is broken, but refusing to allow me to login to the blooming thing to try to fix it.
----------------------------------------I'm going to attempt a rebuild on Sunday morning, but there's a fair chance that my stats pages and signatures might be broken for a few hours (at best). I have a family meal tomorrow so I can't give it full attention, sadly.

It is limping along, informing me by email every hour or so that it is broken, but refusing to allow me to login to the blooming thing to try to fix it. I'm going to attempt a rebuild on Sunday morning, but there's a fair chance that my stats pages and signatures might be broken for a few hours (at best). I have a family meal tomorrow so I can't give it full attention, sadly. I didn't know that they practice canibalism in Malvern

Good morning all. Lazy Sunday today - no F1. Weather is overcast but dry - I'll get out on my bike this morning and perhaps pick another 3 kilos of lemon mandarins for marmalade.

I can think of a better way to spend a couple of hours.
