Re: Good morning everyone

Good to know you made it back safe Mac1. I had a quick look at that page but "Jesus has left the building". That's some serious cleaning fluid! 90+% abv, that's going to take some watering down hypnotized hypnotized

Fortunately I made it away from the proto-Triffids the other day, although when I eventually extracted one from the ground I think the root may have had a bit of your garden attached to it RTS!

Take it steady DCR, you seem to be getting on a bit too well with the "bad-luck fairy".

Sounds like SCC will return, more a matter of when. I managed to get Ruby which suits me fine as I was late to this particular crunching party. I'm now back on a crunch whatever is sent to me routine.

Good morning all
Glad you managed to uproot your Triffid genhos - it can't be a bit of my garden though as, in a moment of complete nerdiness, I looked at Google Earth and the diametrically opposite to my home is somewhere in Burma (Myanmar). I'll leave it to you to discover where your root tip may have come from.

Evening All,
SCC is back...

Great news, thought I'd be stuck at 4 and a half years, be nice to hit a diamond before their research completes. smile

Re: Good morning everyone

Good evening all - I've just logged in to report that SCC is back but Tom beat me to it again. I'm somewhat behind Andy as I have 2y 100d to go before a diamond 5. At an average of 18.5 days / day that should see me there by the end of May / beginning of June if the project hasn't completed again by then.

Re: Good morning everyone

Morning team, I am in high spirits this morning, I've shaken that virus off and recovered most of my strength, helped by a dinner of Fish and Chips from the best Chippy in a 20 mile radius (probably more), definitely one of life’s guilty pleasures. I don't know why but after an illness I always eat stodgy food for a few days, then go for fruit and veg.

Glad SCC is back, I see a sapphire badge in my future.

Hope everyone else is in good health.

Morning all!

I was at 4yr 334d on SCC, I was *really* hoping it hadn't finished with me that close to a Diamond-5 badge! biggrin

Re: Good morning everyone

Good morning all. Happy to hear that you are on the mend DMNI, in those bad old days when I used to live in a colder climate I drank Whisky Mac as a medecine. Of course it had no medical effect - it just made me comfortably numb (now there's a good title for a record track!). Glad for you that SCC is back Thargor, I'll look out for your diamond 5 in due course. A little birdie tells me that Dave managed to get away after his back incident, not the exotic Spanish cities but the Welsh Riviera (Cardiff actually). Enjoy Dave.

When I lived in Canada, Crown Royal was my ahh medicinal drink, good for the throat, it is very smooth!
Made the mistake of drinking a bottle with a friend one evening, then polishing off most of a bottle of scotch as well, the two did not mix and I ended up praying to the porcelain gods. What a waste of Crown Royal.

Have you ever tried Maple flavoured Whiskey?
Done right (not too sweet) it is very enjoyable, something for when the usual is getting long in the tooth.
