Good morning everyone. I hope that you are not suffering too much in the frozen UK (although I understand that Scotland is experiencing a (relative) heat wave of 9 C. I'm seriously thinking about exploring the Ski resorts in Chile but I'm not too sure that Skiing at 5000m is a good idea. Also with the rate of glacier retreat in the Andes there will soon be nowhere to ski.

Hello everyone,
----------------------------------------Arrived home late last evening, sat down at my computer and watched an Ice Hockey game which took about 2 hrs, then checked how WCG was doing and found I had used up all the tasks, no new ones were being downloaded. Checked the logs and to my surprise the reason given was no disk space. Sure enough my SSD was full, after much searching I found a log file for XFCE4 which was 76gig in size, deleted it and all was well. What surprised me was this condition must have existed for 2 whole days as that is my buffer size, and that the computer was working as responsively as usual, if this happened on a windows box it would have had a meltdown. ![]() |

Good morning all.
----------------------------------------Some may expect to be awoken bu an electrical storm, others by traffic noise. I can remember when I was a student in Baselstadt, Switzerland, being awoken on a Sunday morning by the local rifle practice range. Here it is the pitiful 'feed me' mewings of our family of furballs! Honestly, they must be the best (responsibly) fed cats in the whole of South America but come first light I need earplugs!

Blimey, when I said "Go Nico!", I didn't think he'd take me seriously :-(

It is such a shame that he has retired, although I can understand him wanting a family life. I think he still had a lot to contribute to motor sport, although Hamilton is a better driver in my opinion. Who do you think will replace him>

Good whatever it is where you are at. Big HI to AndyMac who has just made his first post. I agree with him that Lewis and Max would be an interesting combination and I'm sure that Max would learn a lot while Lewis is kept honest. However it ain't gonna happen because Red Bull has all of it's drivers tied hand and foot contractually and I certainly couldn't see Mercedes paying to buy them out. I hope that I am wrong but I expect Pascal Wehrlein will step in - I would rule out JB and FA and PM although VB might be in with a shout. It will also be interesting if Mercedes set up a 1st / 2nd driver scenario after claiming that Lewis and Nico were equals.
