Good evening all. Looks like LH44 will have to wait for 2017 for his 4th championship. Well done Nico! Good win Lewis.

Lewis did his best and was very cunning (and is undoubtedly the faster driver), but it was nice for Nico to win the championship.

Good Morning All. Nice warm day in store here. I had my first cataract removed last Friday and am now revelling in improved clearer vision in my right eye although I will still need spectacles for reading and computer work. I'm now off to the eye hospital this afternoon for the second post-op check up and then I will book in to get my left eye done. Looks like new glasses for my Christmas present!
----------------------------------------I thought Abu Dhabi was a great race and that Lewis behaved very fairly. I was rather disgusted with Mercedes and I hope that they don't try any form of sanction for Lewis's professional driving. It was clear to me that he could have driven much faster but that was not going to give him any benefits towards winning the championship. This year - generally - Nico has had the reliability and kept his head down. Lewis has been spectacular winning all four races in the month of June and the last four races too. Nico - a worthy champion? Of course.

Good morning all. A cool day in store here today with more welcome rain forecast. Yesterday I managed to find a source of Epsom Salts (Magnesium Sulphate) for only £1 a kilo. I have been looking for this for a while because it is really beneficial for Ferns, Palms and fruit trees. Now to get dosing - 1tbs per 4 litres of water is the recommendation.

Good morning everyone. Welcome to the middle of the week (but if you are retired, every day is the weekend). Going through a cooler spell at the moment with sprinklings of rain. The peacocks have finally fallen silent as the mating season has fizzled out. The ostriches have chicks so it is not a good idea to get too close as they can be rather aggressive. On the down side - we have been given another kitten by a neighbour who found it wandering in the condominium. We now have 13 (unlucky for us!).
