Re: Good morning team

Good morning all. It always pleases me to see the diversity of discussion and the high standard of abuse on this forum (I've been insulted by experts you know!). I'll look after the gardening discussions, Dave looks after the hardware discussions and stats while El Capitan Crooks UK renders unto Caesar (no - something wrong there!) - well he renders something anyway.
Overall a great bunch of guys but who's looking after the crunching?

Re: Good morning team

I'd be grateful if everybody could stop crunching Mapping Cancer Markers work units please. I calculated that I should get my Diamond 20 about a month before the project finishes... but looking at the stats it appears that the proportion of MCM units has gone up from 30% a month or so ago, to 45% currently. If that's reflected across the whole WCG, the project will be over before I get my 20 year badge. Please pass the message on biggrin

I've stopped, but only until I get my diamond in OET.
Hope it helps you.

Every little helps Darkmatter!
I'm intrigued as to what you can possibly do with 7 hard disks, unless they're very small ones smile

Re: Good morning team

It's great to see the MCM is now processing ovarian cancer units, given that's what my wife succumbed to last year (https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/about_us/viewNewsArticle.do?articleId=477)
Keep on crunching!

3 x 2TB and 4 x 4TB, They hold all my DVDs Blu-ray and CD's plus lots of Photos and home Movies etc. Makes all my media instantly accessible through my Raspberry PI. I am also a WW1 and WW2 history buff and have hundreds of documentaries.
Yes, I am a bit of a media whore.
