HCC will end after all current work is complete. A new project related to cancer by the same scientists will appear in the future. HFCC's resume date is still unknown but shouldn't a lot longer.

Please crunch for the other projects too. They are as worthy as HCC/HFCC.

In addition to using my GPUs to crunch World Community Grid's (WCG) Help Conquer Cancer (HCC) GPU tasks, I also use them to crunch:
- GPUGrid.net
- POEM@Home
- Seti@Home (with Resource share 0, so it is a last resort backup project)

So, when the time comes, and there's no more WCG HCC GPU work, just make sure you are attached to other projects, to continue to efficiently utilize your GPUs!

Good idea, branjo. Let's all meet at the nineteenth on the 26th

On another note, after my three biggest guns failed to get any CPU units for about 24 hours, I switched them to 100% GPU crunching. I'm surprised to see that they have now collectively pulled in over 2000 units. They have later deadlines so I'll keep them on hold in case the GPU units supply runs dry before they are due.

Expect a minor deluge if GPU units don't dry up before then
