Another flawless run so far on 8 different GPUs. Have a small number of PV but don't foresee any issues on those.

I still have the problem of excessive CPU work units being downloaded during a GPU beta test. My work buffer has doubled in size in 20 minutes. So far 3 of the 6 work units received have been resends (_2) - all had errored with exit code 135 but are completing successfully for me. If you're still using a 6.xx.xx version of BOINC upgrading to a 7.0.xx version should eliminate that issue. Nano, any issues upgrading while wu's in cache? Don't have any issues on 6.10 but looks like the bugs have been worked out in v7 for me to upgrade. AFAIK there are no issues when upgrading from 6 to 7 but I would err on the side of caution and finish whatever I had in my cache first before upgrading. I would also uninstall version 6 and then install version 7. FWIW I'm now using 7.0.36. No problems with it so far. Hats of to the techs. This makes 4 consecutive betas runs without a single error for me.

I got five, all completed and validated on an E8400 (Core2 Duo at 3.0 GHz) with two Radeon HD 7770s (12.8 driver). The average elapsed time was 2.86 minutes.
The good news for me is that I was away from home, but my PC properly picked up the WCG work units even though it was crunching POEM on both cards at the time (BOINC 7.0.36 x64 with Win7 64-bit). The trick was to set the resource share to "1" for POEM, but leave it at "100" for WCG, since I prefer to crunch HCC when available, but get POEM when it is not. This was the first time I could test it out. |

6 completed, but all 6 invalid Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 4GB Radeon HD 5450 It looks like you are not the only one with an HD 5450 (I assume you are not overclocking on either the CPU or GPU). https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/...ad,33898_offset,20#394203 |

Suspend/resume causes a task restart. Not a problem for most, but for us with pokey GPUs (5450 for me), it's another story.
----------------------------------------I lost 24 minutes or so of progress out of around 30. On a positive note, 2 of 4 were valid. 1 was invalid. (The one I suspended. Coincidence?) 1 is pending verification. |

If the solution to the excessive downloading of CPU work units while running GPU work units is to upgrade to a 7.0.xx client, does that mean that GPU work units in production is dependent on the upgrade of the client from 6.10.58?
